ST. LOUIS, MO: Rangeway, America’s first hospitality-driven premium EV charging network, is excited to announce the formation of Rangeway St. Louis, a joint venture with sustainable structure manufacturer LoüTeq to develop premium EV charging locations across the St. Louis market. As part of the partnership, LoüTeq founder and CEO Luke Schuette joins the Rangeway leadership team as Director of Design and Construction.
Rangeway St. Louis will operate as a majority-owned Rangeway entity, with Schuette holding the joint venture partnership position. The venture combines Rangeway’s hospitality-driven network model with LoüTeq’s sustainable building expertise to deliver Rangeway’s premium driver experience across the region.
A Partnership Built on Shared Vision
Rangeway is redefining what EV charging can feel like. Rather than competing on speed and price alone, the company is building a hospitality-first network centered around climate-controlled indoor driver’s lounges where guests can relax, work, or recharge themselves while their vehicles charge.
Delivering that elevated experience requires partners who think about charging the same way Rangeway does: as a design and experience problem rather than an infrastructure problem.
“Luke has been working with us since the beginning, and he’s been a real champion of the Rangeway vision from day one,” said Zak Winnick, Founder and CEO of Rangeway. “He thinks about hospitality-driven EV charging the same way we do, as a design and experience problem rather than an infrastructure problem. Bringing him onto the team formalizes a partnership that already shapes how every Rangeway location is designed and built.”
“After years of designing EV infrastructure for other operators, joining Rangeway is the first opportunity I’ve had to bring real architectural ambition to this category,” said Schuette. “Zak is building a hospitality network that happens to charge cars. That’s the conversation I’ve been wanting to have for over a decade.”
Director of Design and Construction
In his role on the Rangeway leadership team, Schuette will oversee architectural design and construction execution across Rangeway’s growing network of Trailheads, Waystations, Basecamps, and Summit destinations. LoüTeq remains Rangeway’s preferred structural and building partner across all four network formats, with materials and fabrication produced at the company’s St. Louis facility.
